We celebrated New Year’s Eve by renting Brave for the boys to watch and then setting off firecrackers in front of the house with my parents. It was SO cold that night but it didn’t hamper the boys’ enjoyment when they would “run for it” each time Scott lit the fuse. Firecrackers are a fun novelty for us in Arizona as they used to be completely illegal at all times but for the last three years or so they have become legal on New Year’s and the Fourth of July. I must say that I enjoy New Year’s now more than I used to simply because of the fun of setting off firecrackers with the boys!
