I worked on a lot of sewing projects, mostly things for the baby (pictures to come soon) but also some gifts, including these cute little zipper pouches for all of my sisters and sisters in law. I actually made more than what are pictured here but I had to show a few off.
Here are some of my fabrics for the baby’s room…I planned to make a crib skirt, crib bumpers, two sheets, curtains (fully lined with blackout fabric), burp cloths, and a quilt. No problem!

The boys wanted to make something too so we made these jingle bell bracelets. They were absolutely thrilled, though Scott doesn’t love them wearing jewelry…
One evening Scott came home to find me trying to paint my toenails. I had them red but wanted some little snowflakes and was having a hard time reaching. The sweet man got down on the floor and painted snowflakes on my toes! He even stuck a rhinestone in the center. He did a great job – what a sweet husband I have!

Also, even though he wasn't feeling well, he put up the
Christmas lights on the house to make me and the boys happy.
Scott wasn't the only one to spoil me this month... I got an early Christmas present from my parents:
I love my new storage in the living room! We found this little beauty on Craigslist and I love how the girl we bought it from painted it. It looks perfect under the TV.
There is something so sweet about a boy and his dog. Boston always takes the time to give Kloie some extra love. See what a gorgeous day it is? Look at the shorts, t-shirt, and flip flops…
After church on Sunday we have “quiet time,” which of course is where Scott and I take a nap. We let the boys stay up but they have to be very quiet. We usually find them fast asleep when we come out. On this day, they built themselves a little cave of pillows. I love that they were both asleep in there together.
It is all very sweet until we wake them up…then we have two GROUCHY little boys on our hands!
One Saturday morning we went to our ward’s Breakfast with Santa. Scott was feeling particularly sick that day but he was a good sport and came along with us anyway.
To be completely honest, this activity was not very fun for Scott and I. The boys enjoyed the tables wrapped in Christmas wrapping paper.
They got to color while waiting for Santa to arrive.
But a full 45 minutes was spent standing in this line that somehow tripled in length IN FRONT of us. My kids have never sat on Santa’s lap before…and now I know why!
The whole time we stood in line the Alvin and the Chipmunk’s Christmas album was playing. Oy vey!
I wanted to share many pictures of them sitting on Santa’s lap because their expressions crack me up!
My boys aren't in to strangers, and let’s face it, even though we are talking about Santa here, he is still a stranger! I hope I can convince the boys to stay at home for this activity next year!
One of the highlights of December was having Celsea home for three weeks! She makes everything more fun. One night we went to my Mom’s house and made sugar cookies.
Bwahahaha, I love this picture!
The boys LOVED this activity and the sprinkles were EVERYWHERE!!!
And here is a gorgeous picture of my Boston, courtesy of Celsea:
December in Arizona, there is nothing like it!
