The other night I started thinking a lot about brownies...opened the cupboard and found a box of "turtle brownie" mix. Perfect! So, to justify making brownies on a random weeknight, I pre-measured the oil, water and broke the eggs into a little bowl so that Stephen could help me make them. He had a fabulous time dumping and stirring! Obviously, the best part was licking the spoon...

Now for the bad part: the three of us (ok, mostly the two oldest people in the house) managed to eat the ENTIRE (9x13) pan in only two days!! And, we are sad they are gone and still go to the spot they "lived" at on the kitchen counter just out of habit, wishing for another bite!
They were very good brownies.

Oh, I love those brownies!!! I know why you ate them so quickly =). Yummy!
Sounds yummy! Cute pictures.
Oh no!! Another thing I'm going to have to learn to live without after I try them.....ahhhh
What- most people don't down a batch of brownies that fast? We do in our house:) Brownies are SOOO good. It is so hard to pace yourself with them. I like how you involved Stephen. I am going to have to try that with my little guy!
I figure, it's best to eat them all at once if you can. That way your not building up an immunity (or building up calories). When you eat it all at once, your body's like: "what the?". It's like it's confused and forgets that it even happened! Right? Am I right? Eh? Eh?
(awkward pause...)
(obviously, this is me trying to justify my OWN gorging, indulgences! Which are several! HELLO ICE CREAM!)
