Creating Masterpieces

My younger brother, Allen, recently passed the bar and started a new career as an attorney!  We are so proud of him.  He moved into his new office space and found the plain grey walls unbearably dull  to stare at all day.  So after a joint effort from my mom, Scott, Allen, and I, we turned three Hobby Lobby poster prints and several feet of baseboard into three framed oil master pieces!  We mounted the posters to boards, and applied “brush stroke” Mod Podge to finish them.  Then Scott, Allen and I worked many many many hours building and the frames.  They turned out awesome if we do say so ourselves and all three cost less than $100.  That is a fraction of the cost three similarly sized paintings would cost if you bought them ready to hang.

You can kind of see the texture in these two:

Okay, so we didn’t make these obviously, but we helped pick out the frames and matting!

Here is Scott enjoying the results of his labors:

Great job! I loved all the updates. Especially the signs leading you to your rock collection and the fact that he is still five. What a cute cute boy!

Way to go Allen! That's a big deal! And way to go creative design team!

I have yet to discover the amaze abilities of Modge Podge! But I have several friends who swear by it!
