I totally forgot I had these pictures but they must be posted for posterity's sake.... Scott NEVER washes dishes. I am not complaining - on the contrary - he helps cook dinner, empties the dishwasher, clears the table, puts all the food away, and will even dry dishes after they are clean, but wash dishes or load the dishwasher?? Not going to happen. That's why the sight of him washing dishes for his Mom on Mothers Day is such a special occasion!
Literally I think the last time he "did dishes" at our house was after Stephen was born - almost four years ago! He even got out of it after Boston was born thanks to my sweet Mom!
I feel like I am on one of those camera crews for the nature documentaries...you know the kind where they film the "rare" and "never before recorded" events in nature. I am still in awe!

I have seen one picture in 33 years of my dad washing dishes. And I fell off my chair when I saw it. He is much better now in his "old" age, but it never happened when I lived at home...
That is hilarious! Way to document it!
HA! That is so funny! We all have our things. I cannot beleive you finished that bad already. It is really cute!
So funny:) How nice that he did that!! Paul's one responsibility in our house seems to be unloading the dishwasher... and he has been slacking majorly lately (though I guess he is rarely home these days poor guy). I guess he helps cook too, but yeah- the thought of laundry, or doing dishes, or anything other than the two previously mentioned duties seem to make him break out in a cold sweat somehow!
