Here is Boston on Friday - doing just fine.
Here is Boston on Sunday - he was running a fever and had a cough.
Here is Boston today (Tuesday) getting a breathing treatment at the doctor's office.
This poor little man just kept getting sicker and sicker until this morning he seemed to be drowning in mucus and wheezing a little. He mostly wanted to be held and whenever he would try to sit and play he would only last for a few minutes before being tired out. I went though my usual debate of "should I take him to the doctor or is it going to be a waste of time because he just has another cold?" I looked at Boston and he told me with his big, sad, sicky eyes to "make the call already!"
Usually when I take my boys to the doctor it turns out that I am over-reacting and they are just fine. Well, it is a good thing I took Boston in today! He has a double ear infection and RSV! So now we have to give him Albuterol breathing treatments four times a day, antibiotics, Motrin, and Benadryl!
All that time he was trying to tell us how bad he felt with his sweet sad eyes. "Mommy, why can't you make me feel all better?" Poor little baby.

I thought RSV was only a yucky utah germ. So sad for Boston! Hope he's feeling better soon :)
I'm so sorry! Poor baby! I hope he gets to feeling well soon! He sure is a cutie!
So sad! I'm sorry...hooray for at-home treatments to get him back on track though.
I'm so sorry that he is sick. Does he sit still for his treatments? That can be a hard thing! When my husband was doing his pediatrics rotation he had a professor say that a good pediatrician will pay attention when the moms say that their child's eyes just don't look right. So so true!
Oh no, how sad! We had a similar situation with Owen, though thankfully not RSV. Instead he had a double ear infection and bronchialitis that could have turned into RSV. Supposedly RSV has been worse this year, and I believe it with all the cases I've heard. Hope he is better now!
