So, I was in kick boxing class yesterday and while working with the heavy bag I got a little carried away and took out my left pinkie toe! I heard an audible crack. It hurt so bad and I could tell just by looking at it that it was broken.
Okay, the truth is that I was walking by the couch in our living room to get a blanket for Stephen and I kicked the leg of my couch. The part about the audible crack and my pinkie toe looking broken is true. After a two and a half hour trip to urgent care it was determined that it is NOT broken - just a little misaligned. It sure hurts like it is broken though. They didn't want to mess with it because they said it might just make things worse so they just slapped some tape on it and gave me this awesome shoe to wear until I could stand real shoes. I have already used motorized scooters in the grocery store and at Walmart - I really like those things although it is a little embarrassing at first.
Scott helped me make up that other story so that I could sound cooler than saying, "I kicked the couch while walking." Too bad I am not really into kick boxing...it might be fun!

Ouch! We would have never known about the kickboxing story.... :o)
At least you have cute toes!!! I love them. Thanks for the gross story. what would I do without a weekly gross post from Cami??? =) Love them! Boston is such a cutie! He looks like a football player. What a handsome boy. Good luck fighting the girls off. Thanks for calling. I really enjoyed talking with you. Next time I will call you when things are a little less crazy =). when will that be???? Never. Maybe I'll just have to deal with the crazies =). I think i need to write a post. I am a bit of a blabber mouth. Sorry.
I totally did that! Actually both my husband and I have dislocated our toes. Me, on a the corner of a prop at a tech rehearsal and Nate on the corner of the wall. You never really appreciate your pinky toe, until you are unable to use it.
And your toes ARE adorable. Very nice.
Feel Better!!
Ok, the sight of blood doesn't even get to me, but your discription of the toe impact and injury makes my skin crawl. What's up with that? Oh well... Here's to a happy healing! You do have cute toes.
