Tummy Massage

I learned how to do infant tummy massage to help alieviate Boston's gas problems. Thanks to help from my friend Tiffany (who is a massage therapist) and my mom's neighbor Karen (who teaches infant massage classes), I am now fairly confident in how to properly massage Boston's tummy. It really seems to be helping get things moving so he doesn't get so cranky. As an added bonus I also learned a little bit about baby massage in general - as you can see, Boston really enjoyed the back massage - he was soooo relaxed!

HOORAY!! I am so glad that you were able to find Karen!! I was praying it would help him. It's also so much easier to see it first hand!! I'm so glad it's helping. He is so stinking cute! Then again, so is Steven, so we knew Boston would be just as cute!! Congratulations!!

I want to learn!! How fun! There's nothing better than massaging little babies with lotion after a bath :) I'd love to know how to help them that way with other issues!

I should have let you borrow my baby massage book. Since we went through all of that with Talan. It has a ton of cool things in there. If you want to you can borrow it. Just let me know and I will bring it to my mom.

That is an awesome photo. He looks so relaxed. You give good massages. I might ask you about that one day, when I have a baby.

Cute new hairdo, and cute little baby Boston..love those little squishy rolls. Boston is so lucky to have a mom willing to take classes to keep him as comfy as possible in every way.
