Last weekend we went to Thatcher, Arizona to celebrate Scott's grandma's 80th birthday. This was also another day trip - the drive is about 3 hours each way and we had Scott's brother Josh and sister-in-law, Shay ride in our car with us. We had a lot of fun and Steve was even really good because Aunt Shay and Uncle Josh brought their portable DVD player and the movie "Cars" - a big hit! The whole trip all I think I heard out of him was "vrrrroooom!"
The "kids" (Scott's mom and aunts and uncles) threw a big lunch party for Grandma at the church. There were a lot of grandkids and great grand kids there as well. It was fun to see the cousins and have our little ones play together. The "cool place" for the kids to hang out was on the stage so I spent most of my time watching Stephen to keep him from falling. We tried to get all the little kids together on this set of stairs for a picture - it was a battle as each kid would sit for only a second and then run off. Miraculously, Stephen stayed put the whole time and was grinning for every picture. You will notice that he especially likes the one where he is the only boy with all the girls! Grandma looks very good for being 80 - I hope I still look that young when am 80!

Little Stephen is adorable. A girl charmer, eh? I'm loving everyone's post on Grandma's 80th and am sad i missed it. I couldn't agree with you more though...she does make 80 look good!
Stephen is SO cute! He seems like such a good natured sweet boy! I am so impressed he was able to so nicely on those stairs for so long. Kaden wouldn't even come near them when those pictures were being taken!
Grandma Debbie needs to buy a portable DVD player for you to keep in your car....it's the miracle invention for little ones that don't care for traveling. I'll be sure to mention it to her since she always listens to her twin sis!
And....my my my Scott's Grandma is the best looking 80 years old I've seen in a long long time. She must be fibbing so she could get married at age 5 as I don't think she looks a day over 65! Does that mean Scott will always have a baby face? Better stock up on the hair dye now, Cami! I intend on looking at least 20 years younger than my husband, always! I dye my hair at least every 8 weeks and if I go bald then I'll have to wear trendy scarves. Sorry...your auntie Deannie is in a real funky mood today! And yes, Stevie is adorable, too, but you know that!
