Last Saturday we decided to paint our living room. Stephen kept saying "help Daddy," and wanted to be doing exactly what Dad was doing so we gave him some blue tape and let him go to town. He had so much fun "helping" Daddy - he is such a happy kid! The room is not finished - we are doing one wall at a time but I like how it is turning out so far. Sorry - no before and after pictures - I am not good at those because I always think to do the "before" picture after it is done! Painting is part of our recent efforts at "home improvement." Not much we can do ourselves in a 30 year old rental house but we did put in a little sod out in our "patio" area. Now we have a 2 foot strip of grass around the concrete. Small change but a big difference!

Painting is a LOT of work. But makes a HUGE difference. How fun! ...and can I just say I LOVE Stephen's little blue and red scottie dog shirt...where did you get that!!/?
I am impressed to say the least! Painting is a lot of work and I have wanted so many times to do it, but haven't felt motivated enough in any of our rentals. It's cute to see little Steve try to help:)
