Happy Fathers Day
I love my Dad - he is the kindest, most patient, loving, cool Dad a girl could ever ask for. He is an incredible example to me. Since he is half way around the world right now I didn't get to talk to him today to tell him how much I love and appreciate him. I LOVE YOU DAD!

Read This!
My dear friend, Anna, posted these two articles on her blog...they were very profound and eye-opening for me. I think I have a lot of room for improvement in this area. I thought they were important to pass on. I have a new goal to stop looking at blogs while my boys are awake and to limit my time on the telephone. I gotta do better!

Boston Lately
If the bathroom door is ever left open accidentally Boston makes a beeline for his favorite place - the bathtub. He is known to climb in it on occasion too.
Church has this effect on Boston:
This is him sleeping on the living room floor after church one Sunday. He slept there for 30 minutes until I woke him up to eat lunch. He still took a good nap after lunch. (I can totally relate - I feel the same way after church too.)
Boston loves his teeth and likes to practice using them on my shoulder or clothes. He went to town on an apple one day and we ended up with this:
Pretty good for a one-year-old I think!
Boston has started to take steps. He stands up in the middle of the room and takes a step and then falls over. He does it over and over and over again. He does much better when he waits until he is very stable before trying to walk but he isn't very patient and just takes off as soon as he is on his feet. I think his record number of steps so far is five in a row!

Visiting Daddy at Work
We stopped in to visit Scott at work a week or two ago. The boys had a great time playing with the post-it notes and pens. They fought over who got to sit in Daddy's chair. I think it is nice to take them to see Scott at work every now and then so then when they wonder where Daddy is and I tell them he is at work they know exactly where that is!
